First, my name is Sarah E. Inserra and I am Priest’s Wifey- meaning my husband is an Episcopal Priest. Our life is full of adventure, or at least that is how we like to look at it. We get to travel around the country and live wherever God calls us to live.
We began our journey in WNY, in the Buffalo area. We lived there, grew up there, went to school there, met, got married, and lived in the Buffalo area for our first year of marriage; then my husband answered his call to serve God- and we went off to seminary.
We lived the next three years in the most beautiful place we have ever lived, Nashotah, Wisconsin, while my husband attended Nashotah House Seminary and I worked in the campus library. After my husband graduated, he was ordained a transitional deacon and received a call to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in New Orleans, Louisiana, where we lived for 2 years.
While in NOLA, my husband was ordained a priest and worked in the church and the school attached to it. I worked at the school teaching Social Studies our first year there (I am a certified Social Studies teacher).
In July 2012 my husband received a call to be the Rector (head priest) of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Sheridan, Wyoming, where we currently live. Yes, people do live in Wyoming. We bought our first home and are looking forward building our family and to many years living in this wonderful community.
Life is an adventure, and we are loving every minute of it.
I have a blog about my loom knitting (http://sarahewrap.wordpress.com/) and a blog about food (http://lifeofapriestwifey.wordpress.com/). I LOVE to cook and bake, loom knit, crochet, other random crafts, and READ!
This blog is a book review blog. It is for you and for me to keep track of what I read. I post review primarily here and on goodreads. Sometimes on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles for ARC’s especially.
